 |   He successfully completed his designation into becoming a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) - only 5% of all real estate brokers across the country have this prestigious designation. In April 2007 Steve became a member of SIOR (Society of Industrial Office Realtors), an exclusive organization representing Office and Industrial users. SIOR is comprised of a very select group that prides themselves on integrity, honesty, and ethics. He is also a member of the National Association of Realtors. Steve holds a commercial real estate license in Missouri, and Illinois. He has substantial knowledge in using the latest technology to provide a full range of consulting services for acquisitions and dispositions of real estate. Doug has over 26 years of Commercial Real Estate experience as a Licensed Missouri Salesperson and Independent Broker. During his career, Doug has effectively negotiated and represented both Buyers and Sellers including National Investment firms in all aspects of commercial and investment real estate. Doug represents several national developers in their land acquisitions for commercial and multi family use in the State of Florida. Prior to entering real estate, he spent 6 years in construction management with Hoel Steffen Construction, a prominent commercial/industrial construction firm. Doug is very active in youth hockey, serving on both the Missouri and Kirkwood Youth Hockey boards for many years. In this capacity, Exbar is involved in the sale, leasing, management and underwriting of commercial real estate. Prior to joining S.J. Financial, Exbar was a Property Manager for Parmenter Realty Partners a Miami, Florida based private Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) from 2008 to 2011. As the property manager Exbar was responsible for managing One Financial Plaza, a 435,000 class 'A' multi tenant office building in downtown St. Louis, MO and winner of back to back BOMA TOBY awards in 2009 and 2010. From 2004 to 2008, Exbar was a property manager for EVS Realty Advisors, a St. Louis based full service real estate investment advisory firm. In this position, he had the responsibility and authority for the management activities of the Fifth Third Center a class 'A' multi tenant office building in Clayton, MO. Exbar is a graduate of St. Louis University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. Further, he received his Masters of Arts in property management from Webster University. Exbar is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) by the Institute of Real Estate Management (REM) and a passt president of the St. Louis chapter.
